Meet Karen.
Karen is a strategist, advisor, and organizational guide who believes the best solutions come from shared truth and honest collaboration. She’s spent her career working at the intersection of culture, strategy, and equity. Throughout her career, Karen has partnered with corporate, nonprofit, and philanthropic clients on culture assessments, leadership training, and strategic planning — always with an eye toward creating environments where people feel seen, valued, and able to contribute their best. Her notable clients have included Pearson, Dunkin’ Brands, Lambda Legal, A.R.T./New York, and the Clinton Foundation to name a few.
Karen also led racial equity efforts at Ben & Jerry’s Homemade, reporting to the CEO and guiding company-wide strategies that strengthened representation, expanded opportunity, and helped dismantle systemic barriers. Her work brought together senior leaders, franchisees, suppliers, and communities to move the company toward a more inclusive future.
Karen holds a Master of Arts in Social Entrepreneurship and Change from Pepperdine University, where she studied philanthropic leadership and community-driven social change. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from Pepperdine’s Seaver College, with immersive experiences in East Africa, Central America, and Washington, D.C.
Through Sage Collective, Karen brings all of this — experience, curiosity, wisdom, and a collaborative spirit — to help leaders and teams move forward with clarity, courage, and purpose.
